I want to advise you about not confusing Noesitherapy with Hypnosis, Hypnosis has a different methodology and phenomenology. The only relationship they have is that both use capabilities of the human brain, but Noesitherapy works in an absolutely normal state of consciousness, the patient is more aware and awake than ever, without needing to sleep nor having any special trance. And, moreover, Noesitherapy is useful, especially in persons which are not suitable for hypnosis. These are our best patients…, and, of course, those people that serve for hypnosis are very easy for us.
I understand that anybody who has only news of the hypnosis wants to explain everything with it, but Noesitherapy goes far beyond, it discovers for the patients the capabilities that their brain has, and teaches them how to use them in a simple and direct manner. But, dear friends, we must bear in mind that the brain is limited to work as it is programed. It is possible that a car in progress, running with normality, takes the opposite direction to which it has received through the steering wheel? We must take into account that it was designed, as the brain, to carry out the orders received – in this case by means of the thought or desire of the patient-…, and if the order is incorrect, it accomplishes it because it works well, but it was used improperly.
I will tell you an anecdote in connection with hypnosis. When preparing to film the first of three documentaries, which until now the
BBC produced about Noesitherapy, Stephen Rose, director of the scientific series
"YOUR LIFE IN THEIR HANDS", accompanied by a British surgeon –one of the four advising doctors who accompanied the
BBC team during the realization of this work- spent an entire afternoon seeing films from my surgeries. The first thing he wanted check was that Noesitherapy had no connection with hypnosis…, and once convinced about it he did not mention the word hypnosis again during the work of filming this documentary, which was called
"ANGEL", which has been the ambassador of my work around the world.
